  I am going to expose the WTS to my son....

  this friday, my younger son and his new girlfriend will be coming by for a visit.

  now, i haven't seen him in almost a year, and have only spoken to him once on the phone since.

  we kinda had a rocky road after my ex and my divorce 6 years ago.

  i am happy to say that i wasn't great with rvs and i never had a study.

  hopefully me fluffing my way through presentations didn't plant any seeds that got watered and grew.

  None. Like you, I wasn't keen on RV's and didn't feel capable of taking a study so didn't want one.
  
  But I could've done. It's the luck of the draw, sometimes. And I obviously played a part in encouraging friends and family. None of us are entirely innocent. Those who did play a part in "bringing someone in" were just doing what they thought was right. I can understand how it would make you feel guilty, but things are just not that simple and we all have to take responsibility for our own choices.

  don't worry about work, your husband will support you.. you are spiritually weak if you go to college.

  (i went to a technical school).

  to pioneer right after highschool.. studying the bible only is "independent research" - ie.

  for them, that is the big thing that is in front of them.. beyond that, there is the beginning of a new circus year.

  for those that remember my wife was attacked and nearly raped back in march.

  yesterday, was the preliminary hearing for the "alleged" attacker.

  my wife had to relive that morning in front of that bastard once again.

  Can't recommend it enough for those who have been exposed to fundamentalist belief systems.

  Condescending Style of the book Keep Yourselves in God's Love

  atlantis has posted a download link for the 2008 book release, "keep yourselves in god's love".

  i read a page or so from the book, and the first thing i notices is the simple language used that sounds like it is written to be read by a little child who is in elemenatary school.. the styel if very condescending and actually is insulting as if the reader is expected to have a very low level of intelligence or reading ability.. what is going on?

  why is bethel printing such material?.
